BIG BAND SUNDAY with Moonlight Swing is Father's Day June15th

Big Band Sunday June 15th 2025 from 7-9pm featuring Moonlight Swing Living History Big Band at Carmichael Elks Lodge 5631 Cypress Avenue, Carmichael, CA 95608

We will be celebrating FATHER'S DAY and the start of SUMMER .. What better way to kick off the beginning of the summer season than by dancing the night away listening to the music of Moonlight Swing Big Band. To overcome the HEAT of the season Moonlight Swing will play the COOL tunes that made the Big Band era of the 1940's so popular. Moonlight Swing recreates the sights and sounds of the Glenn Miller band of WW II by performing favorites like In the Mood, String of Pearls, little Brown Jug, and many more. In honor of our brave servicemen and women the band will be attired in their vintage military uniforms. So make your plans to enjoy a slice of history while you dance your troubles away. Doors open at 6:30 pm .The fun starts at 7pm and a modest $10.00/person at the door gets you in. Get there early for the best seating. Beverage service is available for purchase.
