BMO’s mission is to Boldly Grow the Good and their purpose is to foster a positive impact- shaping an inclusive business environment and thriving communities through engagement, lending, and education. BMO launched a program called Zero Barriers with aims to remove systemic obstacles across three pillars: Customers, Colleagues, and Communities. Zero Barriers is a specialty lending program that provides business owners from historically underserved communities access to capital, education and coaching, and strategic partnerships. BMO participates in the “Rainbow Deposits” campaign where they donate $1 to Rainbow Railroad for each rainbow selfie deposited in branches- directly supporting at risk LGBTQ individuals. BMO supports the LGBTQ community by removing financial barriers, empowering LGBTQ owned businesses through capital, mentorship, and visibility.
This event will feature a professional photographer taking headshots, a rainbow balloon display for photo opportunities, a $100 Cake Bake gift card raffle giveaway and a special appearance by drag performer Afrodytee! Charcuterie boards, dessert and wine will also be provided.
