Cedar Hat Classroom (or Rainshadow Hall for inclement weather)

They’re not just seagulls! Look beyond the stereotypes and understand gulls from a biological point of view. Gulls are an important and misunderstood component of the Salish Sea and Dungeness Bay. They are intelligent and extremely adaptable. Some thrive in a human world and some don’t. Each species is unique with a fascinating story. Former River Center Director and Wildlife Biologist Bob Boekelheide will dive into the annual cycle and migration of gulls on the North Olympic Peninsula.

This presentation is in partnership with the Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society.
