Nature Storytime - Meet the Tricksters: A Real-life Crow & Raven

Nature Storytime will take place outside on the plaza and will be moved inside to the Rainshadow Hall in case of inclement weather.

Love them or hate them, crows are everywhere. Ravens are less common in most places, but abundant on the Olympic Peninsula. So, how can you tell them apart? Find out more about these smart and smart-alecky birds and how they interact with the world of humans. We’ll talk about the rich community lives of crows, ravens’ bond with other species, and we’ll explore some of the gifts and abilities of both that fascinate us, concern us, and put them at risk.

You'll get the chance to meet two live birds! Open to all ages!

Elena Fox— as a licensed wildlife rehabilitator for 17 years, Elena made the acquaintance of many species. She loves all birds, mammals, and even most reptiles, but she fell for the corvids big time.
