This event showcases work by local creative writers, poets, singers and performers from Carlisle’s ‘SpeakEasy’ open mic. On the last Wednesday of the month (from September to May) people of any background and ability meet at 7:30pm in The Source Collective in Denton Holme, and several of us also appear at other events and festivals as we take poetry on the road! Many of the performers have an extensive back catalog of work, with the first ‘SpeakEasy’ taking place in 2004. Join us at Echo Festival as we weave a tale or two and share a fusion of words often spoken, sometimes sung.

This is a free event, however donations are welcome.

Limited parking is available at the school opposite.
