Allen Road Garden Tour

Join the Penn State Master Gardeners of Cumberland County for the Allen Road Garden Tour on Saturday, August 9, 9:30am-12pm, outdoors at the Allen Road Gardens located at 310 Allen Road, Carlisle, PA 17013. This event is free to the public and all are welcome. No pre-registration required.

Enjoy free guided garden tours from 9:30am-10:30am and 11am-12pm of the numerous themed gardens featuring herbs, vegetables, groundcovers, xeriscape, rain gardens and pollinator gardens. Then at 10:30am-11am learn about PA native pollinator plants during a featured presentation. Learn about pollinator friendly gardening and how you can certify your property as a Penn State Pollinator Friendly Habitat. Talk with Penn State Master Gardeners to get answers to your gardening questions and learn more about the Penn State Master Watershed Steward Program. Families are invited to enjoy fun activities for children and youth including a make-and-take bug hotel, scavenger hunt, and more!
