Discover the power of native groundcovers during the Gardening with Nature: For the Love of Groundcovers program on Thursday, August 14, 7:00-8:30pm, in the Community Room at the Cleve J. Fredricksen Library located at 100 N. 19th Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
Highlights include an introduction to poison hemlock identification by the Penn State Master Gardeners of Cumberland County followed by the featured presentation For the Love of Groundcovers by guest speaker Ian Gardner of Green Gardner Designs LLC. Groundcovers act as living mulch – suppressing weeds, conserving soil moisture, and creating a cohesive visual and ecological foundation for any garden. Learn how integrating native groundcovers into your landscape can enhance both its beauty and its impact on the local ecosystem.
