This is our 3rd annual “Folk in the Forest” – an outdoor music festival in support of Community Ascent’s education project in Piñán, Ecuador!
“Folk in the Forest” will take place on Saturday, August 23 from 2-8 pm, in our forested backyard in the picturesque village of Appleton, Ontario. We have an outstanding line-up of musicians this year that you won’t want to miss!
Our line-up includes dynamic singer-songwriter Lynne Hanson, legendary troubadour Melwood Cutlery, the lively Franco-Ontarian music of Monette, haunting harmonies of Libby & Cal, the engaging ballads of Alex Sinclair, the talented young folk singer Leah Holtom, and the lovely ballads of Kristine St-Pierre.
This event is a fundraiser for the Community Ascent Network – all proceeds will go to support youth education for the remote Indigenous village of Piñán, Ecuador. Learn more at: www.communityascent.com
