We are excited to invite you to an evening filled with laughter at our first-ever Comedy Night in the Country! Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 23rd, from 7 PM to 10 PM. This event includes an evening of joy, humour, drinks, and snacks bringing together community members for a great cause.
💟 David & ALS: 💟
We are thrilled to host this event alongside David Collins, the founder of the ALS Awareness Event. In honour of this cause, $5 from each ticket sale will be donated to the ALS Foundation. Additionally, we will be running a 50/50 raffle all night, with 50% of the proceeds going toward ALS research and support.
David Collins has been a pillar of community support from a young age, influenced by his parents’ dedication to volunteer work. They co-founded the Waupoos Family Camp, providing families the opportunity to enjoy a week on Waupoos Island. David continued his journey with Habitat for Humanity builds and various charitable endeavors.
In January 2023, when David’s sister, Carolyn, was diagnosed with ALS, he took action by creating the ALS Awareness Ride and BBQ Event, ensuring support and awareness for those affected by the disease.
🎭 Comedians:
-Josh Williams: A comedian, producer, and host of the “One Man Podcast,” Josh brings his insightful and hilarious perspective to the stage.
-George Assili: Bringing his unique flair, George is sure to entertain and delight the audience.
-Simone Holder: An award-winning Canadian comic known for her infectious charm and distinct comedic style.
-Pat Maguire: Fresh from recording his comedy album “Look Mom, No Filter,” Ottawa’s own Patrick Maguire will grace us with his wit.

Your ticket includes a complimentary glass of sangria to kick off the evening in style.

-Charcuterie Boxes: Request a charcuterie box for two upon ticket purchase. Boxes featuring tasty cheeses, sweet fruits, savoury meats, and more. These are first come first serve.
