Join us this Saturday at Starbucks at Scottsdale Rd and Lone Mtn Rd for the Echo Canyon Loop Ride through Cave Creek and Carefree. Total distance is about 28 Miles of road cycling for the A and B Group.
We ride in 3 groups this weekend :
A- Average Speed 18-21 mph
B - Average speed 16-17 mph
C- Average speed 14-15 mph
The ride will take us north on Scottsdale rd west to Asher Hills and 68th street and then west on Dove Valley Rd to right on 56th street and left of Carefree highway (no shoulder) and right to connect to North Cave Creek rd north east. (This is the part to avoid construction)
At Spur Cross Rd, each group will regroup here.
All groups will then go North on Spur Cross to East Fleming Springs. This is where A and B will continue up through the Echo Canyon Loop and C turns back to the finish. A and B continues up Fleming springs to Sierra vista to 74th and back down fleming springs rd.
All other groups will then head south School House Rd and then rejoin North Cave Creek Rd East through Carefree. We will head right, South on Tree Lined Trail to a right on North Wildflower to a right on Stage Coach and a left on Legend Trail to a left South on Pima with a final Right on Lone Mtn Rd to Starbucks!
Each rider participates at their own risk since we are all riding together for exercise, fun and friendship. Please listen to the safety briefing before each ride (know the hand signals for left, right and stop), obey all traffic signals, and stay single file in the bike lanes when they are available. Please always ensure you have a working bright red rear light when riding with us.
