Seether

A story of supernatural feminine rage played out against the backdrop of the 1990's punk scene, a band's bonds crumble when their singer becomes obsessed with the occult. When a disturbing vhs tape sparks more questions than answers the trio, along with an unexpected outsider, seek opposing truths that very well may have dire consequences for them all.

Seether is a horror/drama written by Presley Stoyanova and Oscar Wilson, with concept, direction, and production by Cydney King. With inspirations rooted in the feminine horror films of the late 90’s and early 2000’s, including May, Ginger Snaps and American Mary, the team is focused on exploring what horror can do in a more traditional theatrical environment. After all, who knows what could happen when the buffer of a tv screen can’t save you…
