Mansion House Ghost Hunt - £40 P/P

HISTORY



Originally known as 'Grove House', it was built in the mid 1890s as a family home for James Howell, founder of the famous department store in the city centre that still bears his name. Grove House was home to James and Fanny Howell, their six sons and five daughters. Their retinue of servants occupied the top floor.

James Howell was a Cardiff businessman who opened his first shop in 1865. In 1890 he made arrangements to build a property on land leased from Lord Tredegar.




PARANORMAL ACTIVITY

Whimpers and voices are heard coming from the old servants quarters by people who work / visit the building, staff feel extremely uneasy in certain areas

Sudden loud bangs and eerie screams are also reported
