Have you seen D&D being played on TV or on stream, or listened to a podcast and wanted to learn to play? Have you been nominated to DM a game for your friends or do you already play D&D and have never had the confidence to be a DM?
This is your chance to learn how to play or run a game of D&D, with a group of experienced players and DMs to guide you.
**Learn to Play: 3pm - 7pm**
The session will last for 3-4 hours and will be run by either brand new DM or a DM with some experience.
Dice and character sheets will be provided for you.
This will be a great opportunity to learn to play D&D in a fun, safe and inclusive environment. Everyone is welcome here!
**DM Workshop: 1pm - 3pm (followed by 3pm - 7pm)**
There will be a 2-hour workshop where our seasoned DMs will take you through running a game of D&D, and give you hints and tricks that they've picked up over the years.
Then, there will be a chance for you to put your new skills into practice by running your first game! This will be a 3-4 hour session, where we will be there on hand to answer any questions you may have during the game.
Included in the price of the DM ticket, you will get a free Starter One-Shot Adventure.
Many Dungeons Masters don't get the chance to learn this way, so we are excited to help you get on your way!
**Please Note:**
This event is suitable for anyone over the age of 10, however please be aware that this is not a children's event. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult also playing in the game.
If you've attended one of our Learn to Plays before, you'll most likely be doing the same adventure, unless we are able to accommodate a different one.
We currently don't have food or drink for sale at the shop, but you can bring your own, so please plan accordingly.
For the Learn to Play portion, if you'd like to make your own character, please let us know in advance and arrive an hour earlier so we can go through it with you.
