About the Meet-Up
Helpu’s regular Gay & Bi Men's Meet-Up is a welcoming space for Men in the LGBT community to connect in a relaxed, no-pressure environment. It’s a place to be yourself, share experiences, and foster a sense of community without judgment.
Why Come?
Connecting with others helps combat isolation and fosters belonging, which is especially meaningful for the LGBT community facing unique challenges. This is a space to discuss whatever you need in a peer supported environment, We are all here to listen, as well as to laugh, cry, and sometimes even rant, creating bonds that support our well-being.
What to Expect
No pressure to talk or engage; until you are ready. We simply check-in and allow the space to exist for those who wish to use it to share
When: 7-9 PM
Where: Victoria Park Pub, Cowbridge Road, Cardiff (Upstairs, private event space)
Cost: Free
Registration: No booking required—just turn up!
Who: Open to all who identify as Gay & Bi men
Agenda
- 7:00 - 7:15 PM: Welcome & Check-in
- 7:15 - 8.00 PM: Sharing circle
- 8:00 - 8:40 PM: Open discussion
- 8:40 - 9:00 PM: Check-out, final thoughts
Facilitators
The space is guided by trained facilitators who are there to create a safe place for you to share.

All participants are asked to respect each other’s privacy and confidentiality.
