Charity Hyrox simulation event

We are thrilled to announce the first Aurora Breast Cancer wellbeing Charity Hyrox simulation event, sponsored by ION Strength and Conditioning.

The event is taking place on Saturday 26th April 2025 from 12pm at ION Strength and Conditioning gym, East Tyndall Street, Cardiff.

Get ready to challenge yourself and support a good cause at the same time. This in-person event will test your strength, endurance, and teamwork skills as you navigate through various obstacles. Whether you're a fitness enthusiast or just looking for a fun challenge, this event is perfect for you.

This event is a pairs event with two options for entry -

Compete. Conquer. Crush it - Taking on the event as a timed challenged against others. Or Unite. Sweat. Repeat - Taking on the event not for time but to challenge yourself.

This is an amazing opportunity to take on an exercise challenge, whilst raising money to support young women with breast cancer.

This is going to be a great event where we encourage friends and family to come and watch, support and cheer on the competitors.

What the race entails

Both members of the team will do the running together, but can then split the reps/ distances of the other exercises between them:

160m push and pull (Torque Tank)

1000m run (together)

1000m Ski Erg

1000m run (together)

2000m Bike Erg

1000m run (together)

80m Burpee Broad Jumps

1000m run (together)

1000m row

1000m run (together)

200m farmers carry (24/16kg)

1000m run (together)

100m SB Lunges (20/10kg)

1000m run (together)

100 Wall Balls (6/3kg)

Timings for the day and ticket options:

Start time 12pm - 2pm. Wave one - Compete. Conquer. Crush it. Competing against each other for time.

Start time 2pm - 4pm. Wave two - Unite. Sweat. Repeat. Competing for yourself not for time.

You can select which ticket option you would like when booking. When we confirm your place, you will be given a time slot for the day. Time slots are running at 15 minute intervals.
