Castles & Cathedrals 2025

Our much-loved cycling challenge Castles & Cathedrals is back for 2025, with two routes to choose from. Join us on Sunday 13 July, with the routes starting and ending at The Cathedral School in Llandaff, Cardiff. The shorter route is 36.1 miles, with 2,494ft of climbing, while the longer route is 68.9 miles, with 6,051ft of climbing.

There will be a warm welcome for riders, with refreshment stops along the way as you enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Vale of Glamorgan in South Wales, before collecting your finisher’s medal. Every penny raised will support Shelter Cymru’s work helping people facing and experiencing homelessness in Wales. Each year, we help more than 20,000 people to find and keep a home.
