Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra: Jazz Harp Concerto Welsh Premiere

After a sell-out concert in June 2024 CPO returns to BBC Hoddinott Hall with a colourful and joyous programme that includes the Welsh Premiere of Cardiff-born composer and harpist Ben Creighton-Griffiths’s Concerto for Jazz Harp and Orchestra, for which Ben will be the soloist.

Continuing the jazz theme we feature George Gershwin’s glorious evocation of 1920s Paris, in An American in Paris featuring a host of great Gershwin tunes…and four car horns!

Ravel’s sensuous and exciting music from his ballet Daphnis et Chloé completes the programme.
