An Evening with a Druid: Kristoffer Hughes | National Museum Cardiff | Thursday July 3rd 7pm
An Evening With A Druid with Kristoffer Hughes will be a rare chance for people to meet the renowned and respected Chief of the Anglesey Druid Order, teacher, writer, workshop leader, and public speaker at conferences, camps, and festivals throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, and North America. Kristoffer has contributed to both Welsh and English television & radio, most recently with his S4C series ‘Marw Gyda Kris’. He is the author of a collection of related books, creator of the Celtic Tarot, while simultaneously fitting in working professionally for Her Majesty's Coroner Service alongside teaching Death Midwifery. Kristoffer Hughes is also the man behind Maggi Noggi (Y Salon, Iaith ar Daith), Wales’s premier welsh language drag queen.
For this incredibly special evening The Silurian Folklore Society is collaborating with Amgueddfa Cymru who have been very kind enough to host this event in their beautiful buildings. We can not begin to express how extremely excited we are that Kristoffer Hughes has generously found time inside his busy calendar to journey to Cardiff and share his knowledge and stories as our next guest. You are therefore very warmly welcomed to ‘An Evening With A Druid’ at Amgueddfa Cymru -National Museum, Main Hall, Cardiff CF10 3NP, Thursday July 3rd at 7pm.

Bydd Noson yng Nghwmni Derwydd gyda Kristoffer Hughes yn gyfle prin i gwrdd â Phennaeth Urdd Derwyddon Môn.
Mae Kristoffer yn athro, awdur, arweinydd a siaradwr cyhoeddus uchel ei barch, ac mae wedi ymddangos mewn cynadleddau, gwersylloedd a gwyliau ledled Cymru, Prydain, Ewrop a Gogledd America. Mae wedi cyfrannu at raglenni radio a theledu yn Gymraeg a Saesneg – yn fwyaf diweddar yn ei gyfres Marw Gyda Kris ar S4C.
Yn ogystal â chyhoeddi nifer o lyfrau, creu’r Tarot Celtaidd, a dysgu bydwreigiaeth marwolaeth, bu’n gweithio i Wasanaeth Crwner Ei Fawrhydi. Ef yw’r dyn tu ôl i Maggi Noggi, brenhines drag Gymraeg enwocaf Cymru.
Mae’r Silurian Folklore Society yn cydweithio gydag Amgueddfa Cymru ar y noson arbennig hon, a chynhelir y digwyddiad yn Amgueddfa Genedlaethol Caerdydd.
