Punches & Paintings brings together the raw power of boxing and the vibrant creativity of live art in one unforgettable afternoon. Hosted by Pharaoh Boxing, Syndicate Gym, and Lexy’s Art Room, this family-friendly event is open to all ages. Join us on Saturday, September 20, from 11 AM to 2 PM at Syndicate Gym (525 S. Illinois Avenue, Carbondale, IL) to connect, create, and give back to our community.
What to Expect:
-Live Sparring Matches that showcase local boxers in action
-Live Art Demonstrations as painters from Lexy’s Art Room transform blank canvases
-Glove Painting Station ($5) where you design your own boxing gloves—no art or boxing experience needed
-Art Auction & Sales featuring original works from local artists from Lexy's Art Room.
Entry Information:
-Bring 3 non-perishable pantry items or donate $5 at the door
-All contributions benefit the Southern Illinois Collaborative Kitchen and feed families in need
