Dog Days of Summer

Calling all dogs and dog lovers! Stop by the Carbondale Branch Library on Sunday, Aug. 24 for a day of dog-themed events. We’ll begin at 10:30 a.m. with a special Dog Day Storytime. Then from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. we’ll have a Lawn Party! During that time you are invited to bring your dog to the library’s back lawn for games, pup cups, a raffle, and more. Finally, we’ll host Mountain Paws Vet at 1 p.m. for a Basic First Aid for Dogs class. Registration is required for the class. Everything is free and open to all, and leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome to join us (except at Storytime). Additionally, you are encouraged to bring a donation of food, treats, toys, collars, or leashes for dogs and/or cats for C.A.R.E. and get an extra raffle ticket.
