☀️ Surf Board Painting Contest 🎨
Entry Fee: $13 per participant (covers paint supplies & a wooden surfboard cutout)
Note: The Stitch Surfboard is a Display Only and will not be entered into the contest.
Contest Dates: June 1st – June 30th, 2025
🎨 Contest Rules:
Each participant will receive one wooden surfboard cutout (approx. 12 inches tall) to paint.
You may paint on-site at our designated paint stations (TBA) or take your surfboard home to decorate.
Participants may enter all three categories, but only once per category.
If entering multiple categories, each additional surfboard is $8.00.
Finished artwork must be submitted via photo to:

Late entries will not be judged.
Judging Criteria: Creativity, detail, summer vibes, and effort.

🥇 Best Original Surfboard Design – Let your imagination run wild with a one-of-a-kind creation!
🌴 Best Summer Theme – Capture the essence of summer in Santa Cruz—think beach days, boardwalks, surf, sunsets, and more!
😂 Funniest Design – Make us laugh with a silly, surprising, or punny summer concept!
Age Groups:
4 - 7 Years old
8 - 12 Years old
13 - 18 Years old
19 years old + Adults
🏆 Prizes & Judging:
1st - 3rd place winners in each category will receive a Ribbon & a free Paint Session Certificate (redeemable In-store only).
A panel of judges will review all entries and announce winners on July 7th, 2025.
