Monday 16th June is a holiday. Peter Todt and Olivia, and Craig are planning a skills challenge bowls day starting at 10ish.
You can either enter in teams of 3 or put your name down and we allocate you into a team.

Conditions of Play – Mowbray Skills Challenge
1.A Gentle Start
Maximum 1 shot can be scored.
2.The Boring End
Normal Trips!
3.Right to Left
All bowls must be delivered with a right to left bias, i.e. Forehand for right-handers.
4.Left to Right
All bowls must be delivered with a left to right bias, i.e. Backhand for right-handers.
5.Don’t be long
Each bowl that passes the Jack is removed from play. If the Jack moves, bowls which are then long remain on the green. A bowl which is in line with the Jack is legal.
6.Don’t be short
Each bowl stopping short of the Jack is removed from play. A bowl which is in line with the Jack is legal. If the Jack moves, bowls which are then short remain on the green. If the Jack is ditched (including legally) it is placed on the 2m mark.
7.Ditch Drawing
The Jack is placed in the ditch at the beginning of the end.
8.Where’s the Jack
Skips go first, with the Leads ending. The Skips and Seconds bowl without a Jack, then the Lead bowls the Jack before bowling their bowls.
9.Power Play
Shots scored on this end are doubled.
