We’re hosting a beginner-friendly whittling workshop for children 8 years and older. The session takes place outdoors at Silvermine Reserve, in the picnic area next to the dam, where families can enjoy a swim or a relaxed picnic after the workshop. Kids will learn the basics of safe knife handling and how to shape fresh green wood into something useful.
Choose Your Project
Kids can choose between carving:
• a wooden whistle, or
• a rustic pencil
Small Group, Hands-On Teaching
We keep the group small, with a maximum of 10 kids, so everyone gets individual guidance and support throughout the workshop.
