Mike Bruton will talk abut his latest book on 'The Origin of Symbolism in Art: The Legacy of the San and their Ancestors’.
In this talk, Mike will propose that San rock paintings and engravings may represent the birth of symbolism in art. He will also discuss the evolution of human intelligence and creativity, as well as the nature and purpose of San rock art. There will be a slideshow.
