A Commemorative Tree Planting Ceremony in Remembrance of the Hiroshima Atomic Bomb

The Friends of the Arderne Gardens, in collaboration with the Executive Mayor of Cape Town and representatives from the Office of Consul of Japan in Cape Town, invite the public to a poignant tree planting ceremony on Wednesday, 6 August 2025, at 11:00 AM. This event will take place at the Arderne Gardens, a cherished heritage site, to mark the 80th anniversary of the Hiroshima atomic bomb and honor the pursuit of peace and reconciliation.
