About the event

The Rights of Rivers: A Charter for the Stour Catchment
Join us next week for an evening workshop titled 'the Rights of Rivers: A Charter for the Stour Catchment', for the 2025 Canterbury Riverfest!

The event is Wednesday September 24th, 6-7:30pm, at the University of Kent, Cornwallis South West Seminar Room 1.

The workshop will feature a talk on the River Ouse, the first river in England to be granted rights, as well as a discussion about the possibility of achieving something similar for the Stour.
