Starting at Canterbury West train station.
Head passed Abbots Mill which is dated 1829. A beautiful grade II listed building on the river which still controls the flow of the Stour.
Onto Britain's smallest town Fordwich,
through 4 different woods Den Grove, Great Hall, West Blean and Thornden.🌲
Up to Bigbury Camp hillfort, a historical iron age hillfort to Thanington Lakes on the Great Stour Way.
Across Hambrook Marshes, onto Westgate Gardens where you can admire one of the only few Baobab trees in England finishing the hike along to the Westgate Tower and back to the station. 🥾🌞
We no doubt will stop for a drink before heading back to the station 🍸🍷☕🍺
Bring food as there isn't any shops, pubs, toilets until we loop back into Canterbury.
