Join us for our second snowpack discussion, where the Rockies backcountry community comes together to share, learn, and connect. We've had a solid start to the season and we can all share what we are seeing for layers, snow stashes and where we've thrown some turns. Whether you're a seasoned backcountry veteran or just finding your way on the skin track, this is the perfect chance to dive into the heart of the season’s snowpack and conditions.
Hosted by the one and only Kevin Hjertaas—ACMG Ski Guide, MTN Guiding's poster child, and all-around Rockies legend—this event brings together the pros you want to hear from: Avalanche Canada’s Zoe Ryan, ACMG Ski Guide Erica Roles and Kananaskis Mountain Rescue.
We’ll cover everything from current snowpack observations to avalanche conditions and beta for the Rockies, Purcells, and Selkirks. Expect expert insights, engaging stories, and plenty of shared knowledge from the best in the backcountry biz.
