Come and join our FUNK & GROOVE band Funkgettaboutit on Wednesday, August 27th for *ONE LAST* great opportunity to hear some good music while you eat and drink and enjoy some great company. We wanted to thank Mr. Brown for his supporting of local music talent over the past couple of years, and are hoping another bar or restaurant can take up the torch!
WE will be playing contemporary as well as vintage funk, R&B, and general groove-type tunes, all with a pulse. YOU will be enjoying the heck out of yourself + whatever company you bring along, got it? No cover charge but the idea is you would order up and enjoy some of Doc and crew's delicious food and beverages while visiting, listening and meeting new people.
PS -- friends of Matt (drummer, vox), Chris (bass) or Sim (guitar), please come earlier. Starting around 5 there will be some cider-tasting and birthday cake to go around (as Matt will have recently become 43+ years old, and wants to make a little celebrating ;)
