In this workshop, you'll be invited into deeper connection with yourself through breath work, mindfulness, compassionate inquiry, and intuitive movement.
We'll move, breathe, journal, and share our insights as we explore the basic concepts of therapeutic somatic skills & learn to bridge the mind body gap in the process!
You'll be empowered in learning:
- What “Somatic” means & How to appply the principles of somatics in daily life
- How your nervous system works & how to self regulate /or seek co-regulation
- How to move through your emotions without getting stuck in them
- How to be in your body & connect with your intuition
- Increase your sense of safety & connection within yourself
This workshop serves as an introduction to Somatic work and naturally leads into SomaCircle (next circle begins in September), but is not required in order to attend SomaCircle.
