Photo Walk with World Renowned Photographer Denise Ippolito
Join award-winning photographer Denise Ippolito at Swan Island Dahlia Farm in Canby, Oregon (just south of Portland) for a great learning and photography experience. Swan Island features more than 50 acres with over 350 varieties of dahlias in a plethora of colors, shapes and sizes, making it the largest dahlia grower in the United States. During this time, the gardens will be filled to the brim with peak blooms. These incredible flowers will be irresistible to all levels of photographers--even cell phone users (bring your camera or cell phone to take photos)! The dahlias at Swan Island have been featured on the Dahlia Forever Stamp Collection with the USPS, featuring Denise's photos. This is where it all began for Denise Ippolito, so she is thrilled to announce that she is offering these photography garden walks at the world-renowned Swan Island Dahlias. Pick the time slot that works for you (3 dates/time options). She is bringing an assistant, and they will share their creative approach to photographing dahlias!
Swan Island Dahlias closes at 5:30 pm. When you arrive at the closed gate around 5:45 pm, staff will meet you there to let you in at that time. Guests will not be allowed in prior to 5:45 pm, as the ground will be closed from 5:30 pm to 6 pm.
