Paint a Mandala at Swan Island Dahlias with Melissa Trujillo

Paint A Mandala

During this two-hour class, participants will learn to create a one-of-a-kind mandala using dots! Melissa will walk you through each step and provide directions on how to get started with dot painting. You will create on a 6x6 canvas.

Class is appropriate for ages 8 & up and all skill levels. No experience is necessary.

Please dress appropriately as the paint can stain clothing.

About the Artist: Melissa is a native Oregonian and self-taught mixed media artist! Her primary medium is acrylic but she also enjoys watercolor, pyrography, beading, and creating jewelry. She loves to work one-on-one with clients to create custom one-of-a-kind pieces and do so in a manner that makes art affordable and accessible to all! She also enjoys teaching and sharing her passion for art! In her artistic journey, she has been deeply inspired by art's profound potential as a transformative healing tool. She believes that art has the capacity to touch the depths of our souls, offering solace, introspection, and renewal in times of personal or collective hardship. It is her passion to bring healing through art for herself and others. Art can take us to new places or transport us to places of the past. Whether it's dot art, woodburning, or watercolor, the creative process is a journey!

Each Participant will leave with 6x6 Canvas dot mandala painting

All supplies are included in the class fee of $55.00

Length of Class: 2 hours

*No guests are allowed. Each person in the class will need to purchase a ticket for the class.

*The class is held indoors in a barn with a sawdust/dirt floor. Please dress accordingly.

*Food and Drink are available to purchase from food truck(s) on site. Please arrive plenty early to allow time to purchase your snacks as the class instructor will not be able to wait to start the class if you are late.

*Please check-in near the Cut Flower Stand 10-15 minutes prior to your class time.

If the minimum number of participants for the class is not met the class will be cancelled and a full refund will be given. Otherwise, no refunds given.
