DIY Floral Seed Paper with Oregon Author, Janice Cox
Plantable Seed paper is a popular trend right now. Companies and garden enthusiasts are using recycled paper with seeds, herbs, and dried botanicals embedded in it as postcards, invitations, hands-on and business cards. Imagine sending someone a beautiful card that also grows flowers. In this hands-on workshop, you will create your own recycled paper projects and learn two methods for reusing materials you already have and making them “plantable.” We will also craft a plantable paper flower bouquet for you to share. This is a great craft for all ages. Each participant will also receive a copy of Janice’s Flower Workbook, “Beautiful Flowers.”

About the Instructor: Janice Cox is a garden writer and natural beauty expert. She is the author of Beautiful Flowers, Beautiful Lavender, Beautiful Luffa, Natural Beauty at Home, Natural Beauty from the Garden, Natural Beauty for All Seasons, and the newly released Natural Beauty at Home Handbook. She was the beauty editor for Herb Quarterly Magazine for more than twenty years and the education chair for The Herb Society of America. She is a member of The Herb Society of America, United States Lavender Growers, and Northwest Horticultural Society. She lives and gardens in Southern Oregon.

Each Participant will leave with a plantable flower bouquet and a copy of Beautiful Flowers by Janice Cox.

All supplies are included in the class fee of $75.00 (includes $18 book)

Length of Class: 2 hours

Minimum Age: This class can be enjoyed by all ages (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)

*No guests are allowed. Each person in the class will need to purchase a ticket for the class.

*The class is held indoors in a barn with a sawdust/dirt floor. Please dress accordingly.

*Food and Drink are available to purchase from the food truck(s) on-site. Please arrive plenty early to allow time to purchase your snacks as the class instructor will not be able to wait to start the class if you are late.

*Please check-in near the Cut Flower Stand 10-15 minutes prior to your class time.
