CICATRIX:
It is the sound of hell & heaven fighting for primacy over your soul. It rumbled out of Tasmania and across Lake Tuggeranong and went missing, but you can still hear it forever rumbling in the Brindabellas. Seductive thunder; a surreal daydream.
MESA+:
It's a 1980s horror film narrated by a classically guitar-slinging maestro, remastered for the new world. It doesn't sound like Donovan but there's nary a hint of Justin Timberlake either. I'm stumped. Come and be stumped alongside yours truly.

It's not stoner rock and it's not your standard fare. I don't know what it is, which is why it's good. It has flare. It has gumption and makes your limbs vibrate.
TOM WOODWARD & THE TRUE DELUSIONS
It is truly delusional. It lives off roadkill. It doesn't know which lane is which. Is it a stray crew of folksinging rock-dogs or a lost band of rock-slinging folk hogs?
Nobody knows.
I'll be turning 41 that day so I hope to make it along.
