Learn to build a clever, performance based freestyle to better engage with your audience.
About Kirstie:
Kirsties dance journey spanned over 15 years, across many forms of street dance, with Samba being the most dominate. She immersed herself in learning Samba no pé by travelling to Brazil and learning from the best in the biz, learning Portuguese with a tutor, picking the brains of our top Aussie Samba professoras, and constantly reading about the history in Brazil.
She prides herself on sharing the love of Samba through authenticity and respect for its culture and its people.
In 2016, she became the first Australasian Samba Queen - a huge accomplishment for an Aussie sambista and the first of its kind here in Australia.
She has taught all over Australia and held private lessons via Skype before Zoom lessons were even a thing!
After a big break to focus on creating her family, she is back to share all her learnings and undeniable passion for Samba.
This workshop is Open level but we recommend above basic level knowledge and experience of Samba no pe.
