About the event

Stories that Haunt: Indigenous Voices in Horror
Brought to you by The Camrose Public Library and The Bailey Theatre Society and made possible thanks to a generous grant from the Camrose Arts Council & City of Camrose.

Indigenous authors Richard Van Camp, Alexander Soop, and Jared Tailfeathers will have a panel-style discussion about the intersection between Indigenous culture, storytelling, and horror, and share their experiences as authors. This talk will be followed by a screening of the animated stop motion short film, “Inkwo for When the Starving Return”, based on the story of the same name by Richard Van Camp.

Admission is free for people with a Camrose Public Library Card and $25.00 for all others. Free tickets (with library membership) can be obtained at the Bailey box office. For paid tickets, please visit the Bailey box office or purchase online at https://www.baileytheatre.com/.
