About the event

Smoked hide Orange Shirt Pins

People 16 years old and up are invited join nêhiyaw-iskwêw Cree Artist from Chakastaypasin Band and owner of JShine Designs, Jessica Sanderson-Barry, to bead their own smoked hide orange shirt pins. Participants will hear Jessica share her late grandmother's story of attending Gordon’s Residential School, and about her own journey to intergenerational healing through hide tanning and beading.

This program is for those 16 years old and up. Space is limited; please email or call 780-672-4214 to register.
