AIF2025 - A Concert Crossing Borders

Arran’s Iain Clarke (piano) and Lucy Walsh (flute), joined by young German artists Max Scheer (clarinet) and Kewen Wang (piano), along with talented musicians from the Isle of Arran Music School, come together for a special evening of chamber music, friendship, and international exchange.

Set in the extraordinary Dougarie Boathouse, this concert celebrates the launch of a new cultural partnership between Arran and the Musikhochschule Mainz — a bridge between Scotland and Germany, offering young artists the chance to connect, collaborate and make music together in the years ahead.

Come and hear these outstanding young musicians from both countries perform beautiful chamber music in an extraordinary setting unique to Arran.
