The Farmhouse Junior Chefs, Session 4, ages 8-15

Welcome to The Farmhouse Baking Camp!

Come join us at The Farmhouse at Apple Hill for a fun-filled week of adventure and learning on the ranch. Our campers will dive into a variety of hands-on activities that embody ranch life including gardening, crafting & swimming and a main focus on kitchen chemistry! In the garden, campers will gain a basic understanding of seasonal produce from farm to fork. We will dive into pickling, fermetation, healthy versions of some classic ingredients, planning a 3 and 4 course meal, making delicious treats to bring home, and get creative with crafting projects such crocheting, painting, hand sewing, and nature art .

This camp is designed for the budding chefs and those itching to experiement in the kitchen with a mindful & healthy approach.

Monday - Thursday

Ages 8-15

Tentative Schedule:

9am: Drop off, meet and greet

9:15a-10:30a: Kitchen Project 1

10:30a-10:45a: break & animal visit

10:45a-11:30a: Garden & Arts/craft rotation

11:30p-12p Lunch & free time

12p-1:30p Kitchen Project 2

1:30p-1:45p Clean up

1:45p-2:20p Swimming or Lawn Games

2:30p Parent Pick Up

Cost: $400 per camper + $50 supply fee $15 friend/sibling discount.

Payments: Registration is $50 through eventbrite, plus their processing fee. Electronic payment for the remaining $350 is required 2 weeks in advance to hold your spot; you will receive communication & an email 2 weeks prior to the camp you signed up for. Supply fee can be brought the first day of camp.
