Sea Lamprey Control Informational Meeting

Come join staff from the Great Lakes Fishery Commission, along with its sea lamprey control agents and NY Department of Environmental Conservation for an informational meeting about sea lamprey control.

The meeting will take place at the Camden High School cafeteria (55 Oswego St. Camden NY) on Wednesday August 13 at 6:00 pm.

The meeting will begin with a presentation on sea lamprey and their invasion and impact on the Great Lakes; how the GLFC controls sea lampreys; and a discussion of sea lamprey control activities in the Camden area. Following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to visit stations to ask questions of subject matter experts, interact with live adult sea lampreys, and view a demonstration of larval lamprey survey methods. Refreshments and snacks will be provided!
