reid tang writes plays and makes weird internet experiments. Their work includes Isabel (NAATCO), WORK HARD HAVE FUN MAKE HISTORY (Clubbed Thumb Summerworks), FUTURE WIFE (Theatertreffen Stückemarkt), and Party in a Google Sheet (New Georges). They’re under commission with Breaking the Binary Theatre and New York Theatre Workshop, and a past recipient of the Sundance Institute Interdisciplinary Program Grant.
Currently, they’re part of Ars Nova's Play Group, and an alum of the New Georges Jam, Clubbed Thumb’s Early Career Writers' Group, and NYTW’s 2050 Fellowship. They grew up in Singapore and presently live in Brooklyn, NY. reidtang.com
Nico Pang (they/he) is a Cantonese storyteller, director, and writer. Most recently, Nico directed Passion of the Cut Sleeve (Joy Who Lived Festival) and Tales of the Transcestors: The Divine (Celebration Theatre). Currently based in Los Angeles, Nico is excited to return to Boston, where they are an alum of Company One Theatre's PlayLab.
Nico’s plays, which explore themes of diasporic belonging, ancestral memory, and queerness as possibility, include Moonbow (Hantext Festival at East West Players), My Body Is a Season (SpeakEasy Stage), and Troublemakers (Asian American Playwright Collective). Nico is currently developing a new play in IAMA Theatre's Emerging Playwrights Lab.
As a teaching artist and facilitator, Nico has coached poetry slam teams, designed programs for queer and trans youth, and led trainings in the reproductive justice movement. nicopang.com | @nico__pang
