Integral Yoga Hatha with Sadhu

We invite you to nurture your well-being as you reconnect with your Self and a community of like-minded individuals at this Integral Yoga class.

Prepare to relax and rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit in a traditional Hatha class led by Sadhu (Jesse Gallagher). Exploring the guided practice of Hatha Yoga, you'll experience a series of classical yoga asanas, pranayama (breath control), yoga nidra(deep relaxation) and meditation. Come as you are, whether you're a beginner or seasoned yogi.

Gentle musical accompaniment will be incorporated from Sadhu's meditation album, "The Inner Sound."

Bring your own yoga mat and dress comfortably! If you have yoga props, like blocks or blanket, feel free to bring them.

Integral Yoga Hatha is a gentle and balanced classical Yoga practice. In sanskrit, "Ha" translates to Sun and "Tha" to Moon, signifying the focus on creating balanced and harmonious energy inside and out. In this practice we are careful to counter every asana with an equal and opposite counter pose to cultivate equanimity. You can expect to feel peaceful and rejuvenated after class, leaving with more energy than you arrived with. As we welcome all levels of yogis, students are encouraged to listen to their body and go at their own pace.

Sadhu-Jesse Gallagher is an Integral Yoga teacher and life-long musician. He traveled & performed extensively as a founding member of the band Apollo Sunshine from 2001-2010, and since has released several albums under his own name (The Inner Sound 2020, Visual Music Vol. #1 & #2). He has practiced meditation & yoga since 2000. In 2016, he was certified to teach Integral Yoga Hatha at Satchidananda Ashram, and in 2024, Jesse was certified to teach Mindfulness Meditation from Dharma Moon Tibet House.
