We're seeking caring individuals to join our friendly team in Cambridge as Elderly Befrienders, supporting older adults in your local area.

Discover this rewarding opportunity at our recruitment event on Wednesday, June 11th, from 10 AM to 13:00 PM at Scotsdale's Nursery & Garden Centre in Great Shelford.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £14.85 and require drivers with their own vehicles, compensating mileage at 30p per mile. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role.

As an Elderly Befriender, you'll work a flexible schedule of 10-40 hours per week, including weekdays and alternate weekends to ensure consistent care for our clients. Various shift patterns are available, ranging from morning to evening. Client appointments are typically an hour or longer, allowing you to build meaningful connections. We prioritise matching your weekend availability with your weekday commitment to maintain continuity of care.
