Cuban Music Classes with Javier Jeffer (Fall 2025)

From Rumba and Son to Congo and Orishas – learn songs and play the instruments of these rich musical traditions with Javier, who has been training in Cuban music and dance since the age of 5. You'll also explore the origins and stories behind the songs, as they were passed down to him.

Classes for all levels!

Schedule:
10:15 AM – Play & sing: Rumba, Son, Congo & more
11:15 AM – Batá drumming & songs of the Orishas
12:30 PM – Cuban Music Performance Team (by audition & invitation only)
