Controverse open mic featuring Peter Crowley

Join your host Anna Geoffroy and house musician Ethan Mackler for an evening of cutting edge spoken word performances. This week our feature is the prolific poet and author Peter Crowley!

Doors at 6:30, cameras on at 7, everyone out of the building at 8:15. Open mic is run in rounds time permitting, bring extra material!

Venue is UMA at 145 Pleasant st in Malden. This is a televised open mic and feature with full episodes airing on public access TV and uploaded to YouTube. Talk to the producers if you’d like a clip of your performance for your socials.

As a prolific author from the Boston area, Peter F. Crowley writes in various forms, including short fiction, op-eds, poetry and academic essays. His writing can be found in Pif Magazine, New Verse News, Counterpunch, Common Dreams, Galway Review, Digging the Fat, Adelaide’s Short Story and Poetry Award anthologies (finalist in both) and The Opiate. He is the author of the poetry books Those Who Hold Up the Earth and Empire’s End, and the short fiction collection That Night and Other Stories.
