**Join the Cherry Hinton Community Make & Mend at The Red Lion**
We’re excited to launch a brand-new **community Make & Mend event** in Cherry Hinton — and we’re looking for people to get involved!
👋 We Need Volunteers With Repair Skills:
Do you have experience in any of the following?
* **Leather repairs**
* **Ornaments or ceramics**
* **Bikes**
* **Toys & wooden objects**
* **Clothing & textiles**
* **Jewellery**
* **Mechanical items**
* **Simple electrics**
Even if you can spare just an hour or two, your skills can make a big difference in helping others repair and reuse instead of throwing things away.
🌿 We’re Also Inviting Local Plant Sellers!
Are you a local plant grower or seller? We’d love **1 or 2 local plant stalls** to join the event and bring some greenery to the day! A great opportunity to meet the community and share your love of plants.
🔧 What is Cherry Hinton Make & Mend?
A friendly, community-run space where people come together to **repair, reuse, learn, and connect**. Bring along your broken or worn items — from trousers with torn hems to bikes with flat tyres — and get help fixing them. Or just come to chat and enjoy the atmosphere!
