Our Cambridge Dance Festival returns for its second year on Sunday 29th June with a delightfully diverse dance programme.
Celebrating dance in its many forms, the festival is guaranteed to move you, whatever the beat!
Find your groove in our dance workshops designed for all ages and abilities:
- Enjoy a fun, upbeat Bollywood dance workshop with Sanskruti Dance School, inspired by Bombay cinema (all ages)
- Elementz Entertainment Limited are running a feel-good class includes a combination of choreography influenced by Hip Hop and other street dance styles (all ages)
- If you are a Strictly super fan, let FITSTEPS® Ambassador LYNNE will teach you the basic steps to 5 styles of Latin and Ballroom dance. No partner needed. Programme created by Strictly professionals Ian Waite and Natalie Lowe. (13+)
- Activ-Chil-Art will take you through three styles of classical Sri Lankan dance, along with an introduction to Sri Lankan folk and fusion dance styles. (all ages)
Audiences can also enjoy some spectacular new performances from a variety of local and national dance artists including Infusion Physical Theatre, Jaymini Sanju Sahai and Anubhava.
For people working in the arts, or interested in an arts career, there will be two workshops with arts business consultant, coach and mentor Tomorr Kokona.
Plus arts and crafts for the little ones! Join us at Cambridge Junction for music, dancing, food and good times at this dance-centric festival.
