BTB Wednesdays at Toad / McCarthy's!!!

We’re back—and it feels like we never left.

For years, Baker Thomas Band made our weekly residency at Toad a tradition. A gathering. A night where regulars packed in for horns, harmonies, and the kind of energy that turned a tiny bar into a full-blown party.

Now we’re back at it—every Wednesday night—carrying that same spirit forward in the place we’ve always called home.

Thanks to Tommy McCarthy, Toad has reopened under his care, and the music lives on. The space is alive, the new menu is excellent (cheap, tasty, and full of plant-based goodness), and the vibe? Still just right.

We’re a ten-piece feel-good bar band—mostly originals, some covers, and just enough chaos to keep it interesting. We’ve got brass, sass, and whatever that thing is our percussionist does when he gets really into it.
