ALIEN draws from the same classic horror inspirations as Spielberg to create an incredibly suspenseful cat-and-mouse thriller where the cat is a rarely fully glimpsed alien killing machine and the ‘mice’ are the doomed crew of the salvage spaceship Nostromo.
