Tea House on Burke
911 Burke Road, Camberwell, Australia
Australia’s most fearless wine critic and the author of 30 books - including 19 editions of the best-selling The Australian Wine Annual, Jeremy Oliver will enhance your enjoyment and appreciation of wine. This is the ultimate wine course for beginners and even seasoned wine enthusiasts, because Jeremy is a qualified winemaker and long-term industry commentator who keeps right on top of wine trends in Australia and around the world.
Jeremy has long developed a reputation for calling wine as he sees it, so his sessions are as much about entertainment and stories as they are about education. He firmly believes wine education should be fun, and by de-mystifying wine, he makes it simpler to follow and easier to enjoy.
Taking place over four consecutive Mondays this October in Camberwell's iconic Tea House on Burke restaurant, this course covers everything a wine enthusiast needs to discover to taste, buy cellar and serve wine with confidence.
Jeremy will guide his guests through detailed and professional tastings in each of the four sessions. Having run a wine school for 17 years and hosted hundreds of events in Australia and around the world, he’s excited to share again his knowledge and passion with Melbourne’s current and budding wine enthusiasts. All guests receive a unique and ultra-comprehensive set of Jeremy’s unique course notes.
Important Note
This is a four-week course comprising sessions from 6.30-9.00pm on October 6, 13, 20 and 27. There is a single ticket for the entire course for $495 per ticket. Individual sessions are NOT sold separately.
